Simultaneous interpreting booth

The interpreting booth is a sound proof booth that is used for the simultaneous interpreting mode.

Interpreting booths are the workplace of simultaneous interpreters and have to comply with certain requirements in terms of soundproofing requirements, technical equipment, lighting, sufficient ventilation, direct view of the speaker and the happenings etc, according to the standards ISO 4043, ISO 2603, CEI 914 or also DIN 56924.
